Emei Catholic Church

Built in 1963, Emei Catholic Church is a cultural landmark and an important center of faith in Emei Township. It features Spanish-style architecture and was built by Father Gao Bailong. The front of the church is adorned with vibrant murals, and inside, there are beautiful mosaic frescoes and a simple altar. In its early days, the church also served as a credit union, a clinic, and a kindergarten, making significant contributions to the local residents. Emei Catholic Church is not only a symbol of faith and a witness to Emei Township's history, but also an important part of the local cultural and economic development.
