Mailiao Gongfan Temple

Kaishan Mazu: Safeguarding the region for eternal peace and well-being. Mailiao Gongfan Temple primarily worships Mazu, commonly known as Mailiao Mazu or Kaishan Mazu, and was founded during the Kangxi era. It is currently designated as a national historic site. The temple shares the same founding patriarch, Monk Chunzhenpu, with Lukang Longshan Temple. Its sphere of faith covers the "five districts and thirty-six villages" (五股三十六莊), encompassing the five townships of Mailiao, Taixi, Dongshi, Baozhong, and Lunbei in Yunlin County.
