Lin Family Ancient House in Sanchong (Chongdeju)

Chongdeju was built in 1925 (Taisho 14) during the Japanese colonial period in Taiwan. Its founder was Lin Jian-li. At that time, the Lin family operated a successful fragrant flower business in Sanchong. After Lin Qing-dun, a gentry from the same clan, advocated for the renovation of Xiansi Temple, Lin Jian-li, who served as a preparatory committee member for the reconstruction, also commenced the construction of Chongdeju.
