Gaomei Wetlands Scenic Bridge

The Gaomei Wetlands Scenic Bridge, a new landmark on Taichung's coast, is the first cable-stayed bridge in Taiwan with a twin-tower, double-arc design. It integrates local environmental characteristics and was built across the Qingshui Drainage Channel. To protect the ecosystem, it also features specially partitioned low-insect-attracting lighting and has received the National Excellence in Construction Gold Award.
