Guanyin Cave

Guanyin Cave on Green Island is located on a marine terrace in Gongguan Village, which islanders call Caoshan. It is a natural stalactite cave. In front of the cave entrance stands a couplet: "Green waters and lush mountains, a sacred place for Guanyin; Island scenery, a dwelling for immortals." Inside the cave, a stalagmite stands tall, resembling the Bodhisattva Guanyin. Pilgrims have steadily increased, and incense offerings are abundant.
