Da Guoye Columnar Basalt

During the Japanese colonial period, to facilitate maritime transportation between Magong and Xiyu, a pier was constructed on the Da Guoye seaside. While excavating stones and soil, this magnificent columnar basalt, buried for a thousand years, was unexpectedly unearthed. It is considered the most accessible columnar basalt on Penghu's main island.
