National Center for Traditional Arts, Yilan Park

The National Center for Traditional Arts has adopted an ROT (Rehabilitate-Operate-Transfer) scheme, entrusting its operation to the PX Mart Sumei Culture and Arts Foundation. Creating a cultural space where dreams can be realized requires dedicated enterprises and professional teams. In November 2015, PX Mart established the PX Mart Sumei Culture and Arts Foundation as a non-profit organization to manage the National Center for Traditional Arts, Yilan Park. It operates with four main objectives: to be 'a cultivation base for traditional arts,' 'a cross-sectoral exchange platform,' 'a practical venue for cultural industries,' and 'a gateway for cultural and creative output,' thereby collectively creating a new vision for the Traditional Arts Park. At the same time, through diverse and enriching tour designs, over a hundred types of hands-on experiences, and thousands of spectacular performances annually, it strives to enable everyone to become a 'seed' of traditional arts and the values of goodness and beauty.
