Jiaoxi Xietian Temple

Xietian Temple is one of the premier and most important Guandi Temples in Northern Taiwan. Every year, a large number of devotees come to worship, ensuring a flourishing stream of visitors. What makes Xietian Temple particularly unique among other temples is that it was personally decreed and built by the Qing imperial government. The 'Begging for Turtle' worship event held during the annual Spring Festival ceremony and the 'Four-Row Dance' during the Autumn Festival ceremony are both focal events that attract large crowds.
