Hou Dong Keng Waterfall

Hou Dong Keng Waterfall is located at the end of Baishijiao Road in Jiaoxi Township, Yilan County. It can be reached in about a ten-minute drive from the Toucheng Interchange, making it an easily accessible natural waterfall attraction in the outskirts of Jiaoxi. This waterfall cascades down from the top of a massive rock wall, divided into upper and lower tiers. Its total drop is between twenty and thirty meters, with an elevation of 65.55 meters. The two tiers of the waterfall are separated by a plunge pool. During the annual rainy season, abundant water cascades directly down from its height, creating a magnificent spectacle.
