Dongmen Night Market

Located on Shenghou Street and under the Donggang Overpass in Yilan City, Dongmen Night Market is one of the most representative local night markets in Yilan's urban area. It's easily accessible, just a five-minute walk straight along Yixing Road after exiting Yilan Railway Station. The night market's main area covers an L-shaped block formed by Shenghou Street and Hemu Road. Established in 1979 (the 68th year of the Republic Era), it has a history of over forty years. Its original site was Triangle Park, and with the expansion of the Donggang Overpass, it gradually developed into a popular spot for locals to eat, shop, and relax, as well as an excellent window for out-of-town visitors to experience the Yilan lifestyle.
