Toucheng Old Street

Toucheng Old Street is located on Heping Street in Toucheng Township, Yilan County. Since the Qing Dynasty, it has been the oldest and most representative street in the Lanyang region, renowned as the "First Street to Develop Lanyang." Geographically, Toucheng Old Street is adjacent to the former commercial Wushi Port. It runs approximately north-south, stretching about 600 meters. There is a Tudigong Temple (Earth God Temple) at each end—Nanmen Fude Temple at the south end and Beimen Fude Temple at the north end—bearing witness to the rise and fall of Toucheng's commerce.
