Donggang Banyan Park

Donggang Banyan Park is located in Donggang Village, Zhuangwei Township, Yilan County, situated by the estuary of the Yilan River and Lanyang River, and adjacent to Donggang Pier. It is an important hub for local coastal scenery and serves as the southern exit of the Yilan Coastal Bicycle Path. The park is characterized by two rows of over ten old banyan trees whose dense branches and leaves intertwine, creating a natural green pavilion. It offers visitors a wonderful place to cool off, find shade, and escape the summer heat. This recreational area blends natural and cultural features. From here, visitors can also admire the rustic fishing village scenery and coastal views. It is one of the key locations connecting Zhuangwei's coastal recreational resources.
