Wai'ao Beach

Wai'ao Beach is adjacent to Wushi Fishing Harbor, facing the azure Pacific Ocean and the distant Guishan Island, making it a highly popular coastal attraction. The terrain here is open, and the coastline is wide and flat. Its sand is distinctively fine and black in some areas. As one of the few beaches in the Yilan region suitable for both surfing and family water activities, it attracts tourists from all over Taiwan and surfers from home and abroad year-round.
