Renshan Botanical Garden

Renshan Botanical Garden is located in Zhongshan Village, Dongshan Township, Yilan County, adjacent to the Xinniao Stream. It is an excellent choice for the public to hike, stroll, and connect with nature. This site was originally the Zhongshan Nursery, dedicated to cultivating tree seedlings for afforestation. With the decline of traditional forestry functions and the rise of ecological conservation awareness, the park began its transformation in 2001 into a botanical garden that integrates recreation, ecology, and education. Positioned to promote environmental beautification and ecological conservation, it became the second botanical garden in the Yilan area. It distinguishes itself from the research-oriented Fushan Botanical Garden by emphasizing public accessibility and engaging visitor experiences.
