Plum Blossom Lake Scenic Area

Plum Blossom Lake Scenic Area is located in Dongshan Township, Yilan County, and is only a little over ten minutes' drive from Luodong Train Station, making it very accessible. The main entrance to the scenic area is at No. 1 Dapi Road. With well-developed road networks and public transportation routes, it is suitable for arrival by bus or car. This lake is surrounded by mountains on three sides. It was originally named "Dapi" and was known as "Autumn Moon over Jian Lake," one of the Eighteen Sights of Lanyang. Later, due to its shape resembling a five-petal plum blossom, it was renamed "Plum Blossom Lake" by the late President Chiang Ching-kuo.
