Xiandongping Chessboard Rock

The "Xiandongping Chessboard Rock," located in Zhongliao Township, is a unique natural landscape. The low-lying river valley, shaped by rainwater erosion and tectonic shifts, caused the massive rocks to naturally cut into square blocks, forming the "Chessboard Rock" which spans an area of up to 3,000 square meters and resembles perfectly cut blocks of tofu. Lush green grass grows in the crevices of the Chessboard Rock, resembling the natural dividing lines on a chessboard, prompting visitors to marvel at the extraordinary craftsmanship of nature.
