Wanglai Pineapple Cultural Park

Wanglai Pineapple Cultural Park is located near National Chung Cheng University in Chiayi. The name "Wanglai Mountain" originates from a place in Minxiong known for its pineapple production, thus named "Wanglai" (pineapple) Mountain in Taiwanese. The park primarily showcases pineapple cakes produced in Minxiong, attracting tourists. Visitors can enjoy complimentary hot tea and pineapple cake samples inside the factory. Wanglai Mountain's traditional pineapple cakes are made from pineapples cultivated by a "pineapple master" who has received the Shennong Award and GAP (Good Agricultural Practices) safety fruit certification. The pineapple filling is freshly prepared on-site after harvest. The crust is crafted from free-range chicken eggs, Japanese artisan flour, imported European milk powder, and premium French butter.
