Chiayi County Meiling Art Museum

The Meiling Art Museum is a local museum established through the collective fundraising efforts of painter Wu Meiling's disciples and local gentry from Puzi City, Chiayi County, who were grateful for Mr. Wu's ideals in artistic creation and aesthetic education promotion. Throughout his life, Mr. Wu Meiling nurtured countless people, dedicating his youth to Taiwan's art community. His spirit and ideals are worthy of being inherited, promoted, deeply rooted, and allowed to flourish locally. The Meiling Art Museum's enhancement project is rooted in Mr. Wu's spirit of art education service. It aims to establish a community-oriented, holistic art education network, based at the Meiling Art Museum, to embed art within the local community and serve seniors, children, teenagers, new residents, and out-of-town visitors in Chiayi County. The goal is to deeply integrate with the community's artistic culture and daily life, applying regional resources and artistic values to effectively implement art education.
