Come to Hsinchu for summer vacation and embrace the sea! Adjacent to the picturesque coast lies the Xiangshan Wetland Crab-Viewing Boardwalk. Its intertidal zone is rich with diverse life, making it the most accessible natural ecological area and the largest ecological resource along Hsinchu City's coastline. The boardwalk stretches 250 meters, offering views of over ten species of crabs, including Fiddler Crabs, Sentinel Crabs, and Hermit Crabs. The sight of 'tens of thousands of crabs scuttling' during low tide is particularly spectacular! It's ideal for family outings, providing an enriching outdoor experience focused on ecological conservation. The Xiangshan Wetland in Hsinchu City is a nationally important wetland. Thanks to its abundant fish and crab resources, it serves as a crucial resting stop for migratory birds traveling both south and north. With good timing, you can observe migratory birds nesting and breeding here.
