This museum uniquely traces the path of democratic development, showcasing the exquisite beauty of cultural artifacts through static ancient relics and the overall landscaping of the museum grounds. It is Asia's only museum dedicated to human figure sculptures. The museum has three floors of exhibition space. The exhibited works primarily feature precious pieces by early Taiwanese masters such as Ye Wang, Ke Xun, Hong Kunfu, Lin Tianmu, and Chen Zhuanyou from the late Qing Dynasty to the early Republican period. The first floor features Koji pottery figures depicting stories of loyalty, filial piety, integrity, and righteousness. The second floor mainly exhibits Taoist immortals from myths and folk legends. The third floor showcases the complete evolution of pottery, from Chinese Han Dynasty terracotta figures to modern Koji pottery.
