With the Chiayi City Government's promotion of cycling, on holidays, families can be seen leisurely cycling through Chiayi City, both downtown and in the suburbs, creating a relaxed atmosphere. The wide, tree-lined boulevards of Zhongxiao Road and Shixian Road in Chiayi City offer large green spaces. The city's Department of Transportation has planned bicycle paths, allowing residents to enjoy cycling amidst the greenery. Shixian Road is a major outer ring road in Chiayi City, spanning 90 meters wide with eight lanes. On both sides, there are wide green belts and forests, and the bikeway winds through these woods. As you advance along Shixian Road, even if cars are speeding by on the main road, cyclists remain completely undisturbed. Each section of the Shixian Road Bikeway offers different scenery and unique views. In addition to concrete paths, there are also brick sections, and these varied terrains add to the enjoyment!
