Beixiang Lake Park

Chiayi City's 'Beixiang Lake Park' covers approximately 25.26 hectares, making it the city's second-largest park, surpassed only by Chiayi Park. It is designated as a forestry culture theme park. 'Beixiang Lake Park' recreates 'Beixiang Autumn Lotus,' one of the Eight Sights of Zhurolu (an ancient name for Chiayi) as recorded in Qing Dynasty documents. The park features Beixiang Lake and is home to over two thousand shrubs, seventy thousand trees, and various other plants. Together with the neighboring Boai Park and Pizitou Botanical Garden, it forms the largest park green space in the West District, earning it the title 'lungs of Chiayi City.' The park offers various attractions, including Songfeng Pavilion, Sakura Forest, Pizitou Botanical Garden, and grass slope scenic areas, for visitors to enjoy.
