Visitor Essentials

The Xinhai Guangfu Building, one of the landmarks of Yangming Park, is nestled amidst dense trees. This magnificent two-story Chinese-style edifice was constructed in the 60th year of the Republic of China (1971) to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the Xinhai Revolution. Situated right in the heart of Yangming Park, it offers an ideal spot for relaxation and boasts panoramic views of the Taipei Basin. The pond in front of the building is home to various colorful koi fish, and the upstairs balcony provides a favorite spot for children to feed them. With its carved beams, painted pillars, and overall Chinese-style design, the building exudes an antique, solemn, and elegant charm, incorporating numerous historical allusions and ingenious details. Souvenirs are also available for purchase inside. During the flower season, the Guangfu Building is enveloped by vibrant cherry blossoms. Taking a leisurely stroll along its verandas, admiring the flowers, and watching the clouds and mist playfully sway with the blossoms creates an even more delightful and picturesque experience.
