Visitor Essentials

The Rainbow Bridge is 167 meters long, connecting Neihu District and Songshan District across the Keelung River. Its unique design features a curved, S-shaped bridge body supported by four main steel cable stays from the bridge's center, along with a vibrant red steel-ribbed arch beam structure. Auxiliary facilities include wooden railings and pink and light blue floor tiles, making it a modern landmark public facility. Currently, the Rainbow Bridge is open only to pedestrians and cyclists; motor vehicles are not permitted. Pedestrians can often be seen strolling leisurely across it. It also serves as a shortcut for traveling between Neihu, Raohe Street Night Market, and Songshan Train Station, significantly reducing travel time for residents of Songshan and Neihu districts. Whether by day or night, the Rainbow Bridge offers different kinds of beauty. Especially after dusk, the projected lights on the bridge add considerable splendor to Taipei's nightscape, making it an excellent subject for many photography enthusiasts capturing Taipei's evening views. Additionally, the Rainbow Bridge features the Blue Highway terminal pier, attracting more river tour tourists and establishing itself as another new tourist landmark in Taipei City.
