Located opposite 228 Peace Memorial Park, this is a paleontology exhibition hall primarily focused on natural history. It is a repurposed historical building, specifically the former Kōgyō Ginkō (Industrial Bank of Japan) building, a relic from the Japanese colonial period. Its exterior is a stone building with a grand Roman colonnade. The wall material uses a segmented mortar joint technique. The cast-iron windows utilize a pulley and counterweight system for effortless vertical opening and closing, and all cast-iron windows are embedded with embossed glass featuring a hexagonal wire mesh. These details bear witness to the construction techniques and craftsmanship of that era. The three-story high-ceilinged main hall is decorated with plaster relief panels. Inside, various paleontological specimens and large dinosaur models are displayed. Additionally, there are permanent exhibitions on the history of the Land Bank of Taiwan's vault and building restoration.
