Bishan Campsite

Neihu's Bishan Campsite is located on Bixi Industrial Road at the foot of Dalunwei Mountain in Neihu District. It is a campsite that can accommodate 250 people, one of only two campsites in Taipei City, and one of the few free campsites nationwide. Bishan Campsite is generally divided into three areas: the forest trail, the camping area, and the recreational activity area. Within the Bishan Campsite's forest trail area, there is a boardwalk about 1 kilometer long. A round trip takes about half an hour. Strolling through Bishan's lush green forests and enjoying the carefree pleasure of nature is a great joy. Due to less light pollution in the mountainous area, Bishan Campsite is the best place for stargazing in Taipei. The night view from the mountain is even more beautiful, offering distant views of Mount Guanyin and the nightscapes of Shilin and Beitou. Locals in the know and some cycling enthusiasts often cycle along Jinlong Industrial Road, which leads to this area. Enjoying the scenery while a cool breeze blows makes for a beautiful journey.
