Liaoning Park is surrounded by tall, straight fan palms, adding a touch of Southeast Asian charm to the park. Inside, flower beds create varied terrain, with gentle mounds and slopes adding a vertical rhythm to the space. The park features a children's play area equipped with playground equipment and spring riders, providing a space for young children to play and exercise. The main vegetation in the park consists primarily of long-lived, lush banyan trees, which provide shade. Additionally, crape myrtles, valued for their foliage, surround the park, with their changing leaf colors and glossy bark adding variety to the park's greenery. The protected old tree in Liaoning Park is currently estimated to be over 30 years old. This protected tree, in its prime, possesses local cultural and historical significance, standing near the park entrance like an old signboard for the park. The park also boasts a rich variety of plants, including banyan trees, fan palms, Buddhist pines, camphor trees, crepe myrtles, Norfolk pines, crotons, azaleas, lantanas, and golden dewdrops.
