Upon arriving in Wanhua, behind Longshan Shopping Mall is the nationally renowned Dali Street Monga Garment District, a must-visit apparel street. It's also the main hub where wholesalers from across the country procure various types of clothing. The Monga Garment District came into being because Monga was developed very early, and with Wanhua Railway Station located here, convenient transportation and trade fostered the creation of a major apparel market. In its early days, there were nearly 2,000 diverse clothing stores here, operating as an integrated system from design and pattern making to production and marketing, offering highly competitive quality and prices. However, due to changing times, the garment district now only has about 400 stores. The types of clothing have shifted towards mature women's wear, which accounts for about 80% of all shops. Another 10% is children's wear, along with custom group uniform services. Men's wear has become increasingly scarce, often even merged with group uniforms, presenting a clear contrast to Wufenpu, which caters to young women with vibrant styles. On weekdays, the area is bustling with delivery trucks restocking merchandise and vehicles of wholesalers. Some customers also specifically travel here to unearth treasures. The vast array of clothing and accessories leaves visitors overwhelmed and dazzled after a single stroll.
