Visitor Essentials

Shuangxi Park is named for the Outer Shuangxi and Inner Shuangxi rivers, which flow from north to south and converge in Shilin. Situated at the intersection of Fulin Road and Zhishan Road, it serves as an essential thoroughfare for those traveling from Shilin to Yangmingshan, the National Palace Museum, and the Inner and Outer Shuangxi areas. Completed in 1974, the park encompasses approximately 2 hectares of open space and features a natural landscape garden. The park's terrain is flat and triangular, designed in the style of a traditional Chinese garden to evoke a natural aesthetic. Winding corridors connect to a central pavilion, waterside pavilion, stone grottoes, a Nine-Bend Bridge, and an artificial mountain with waterfalls. Shuangxi Park beautifully blends modern aesthetics with ancient charm, making it a tranquil retreat well worth a visit.
