The Floral Experiment Center is located in the Yangmingshan area. Its main park covers an area of over 4 hectares, and its climatic conditions are very suitable for cultivating low-altitude temperate flowers and trees. Since 1949, the center has been engaged in research and experimental work related to the collection, domestication, and improvement of cultivation techniques for camellias and azaleas. It was later opened to the public for visits in 2003 and has since transformed into a general park. Research and Exhibition: The Floral Experiment Center publicly displays the long-term cultivation and experimental research results from the park, allowing visitors to see years of research achievements. The park features several themed areas, including the Camellia Area, Herb Area, Fragrant Flower Area, Native Azalea Area, Maple Tree Area, Conifer Area, Yoshino Cherry Area, a Fern & Begonia Greenhouse, and a Succulent Greenhouse. Themed Area Exploration: Each themed area creates distinct landscape features, allowing visitors to stroll leisurely and enjoy the beauty of the changing seasons. Each area showcases different types of plants, offering rich visual and sensory enjoyment, and allowing visitors to deeply experience the charm of nature.
