Xinxin Park covers an area of 25,408 square meters and is located at Lane 149, Section 3, Nangang Road. The land was donated by Taiwan Railways Corporation and is part of the Eastern District Gateway Project. The park's planning direction is that of an "ecological wetland park." It cultivates native plants that attract butterflies and birds, providing habitats for various organisms, enhancing environmental biodiversity, and offering opportunities for environmental education. In response to global warming and extreme weather events, and considering flood retention, the park is designed as a "sponge city" with water storage and detention spaces to achieve base water retention. Utilizing the spatial axis created by the underground railway, it connects public and private land from west to east, developing a multi-core corridor-type urban spatial structure, serving as a multi-functional park for public recreation and disaster prevention. It includes children's play facilities such as a rock climbing wall, slides, zip lines, and balance beams, designed with the stacked mountain terrain of the northeast corner as its base, allowing adults and children to enjoy activities and the scenery together within the undulating landscape. The slide platform in the children's playground is the highest point in the park, offering a popular spot for panoramic views of the entire park.
