Located beside Yuanji Road (County Road 152) in Ershui Township. The origin of Mr. Lin's Temple dates back to the 58th year of the Kangxi reign of the Qing Dynasty (1719 AD). Pioneer Shi Changling was constructing the Babao Canal near Bizitou in Wudongbao, but despite trying various engineering methods, he could not divert water from the Zhuoshui River into the canal. Later, he fortuitously met Mr. Lin, who taught him a method for water diversion. This successful method irrigated the entire Changhua Plain, leading to its subsequent prosperity. However, after his great achievement, Mr. Lin refused any reward, disappeared without a trace, and never revealed his name to anyone! To express their gratitude for his benevolence and commemorate his great contributions, later generations built Mr. Lin's Temple near Bizitou in Ershui, at the head of the Babao Canal.
