Although mining at the mountain stopped long ago, it has not run dry. Deep within its strata, another kind of lode still flows: the energy of memory, labor, faith, and vision. The 2026 Mining Art Festival, themed "The Lode of Time," redefines mining as a trans-temporal act: not merely the excavation of geology, but also a retrospective gaze at history, a perception of the present, and an imagination of the future.
