The Emei Lakeside Tea Ceremony takes place on the lakeside platform next to the Ximaopu Suspension Bridge in Emei Township, Hsinchu County. Tea enthusiasts are invited to register and experience the exquisite taste of Oriental Beauty Tea, which will be paired with tea chocolate and accompanied by the serene melodies of erhu and guzheng. A local farmers' market will be on-site, offering Oriental Beauty Tea beverages, Ponkan fruit toast, Hakka steamed buns, and other regional culinary delights. This event aligns with the vision of Tourism Bureau Director-General Chen Yu-hsiu to build a tourism ecosystem that 'moves visitors, benefits locals, and ensures industry sustainability.' By partnering with local tea farmers, tea masters, and performing artists, we aim to create an immersive cultural experience that combines tea ceremonies, a farmers' market, and musical performances, thereby increasing the utilization of the lakeside platform. The 3rd Emei Lakeside Tea Ceremony is scheduled for 2026 (ROC Year 115), to be held during Emei Lake's most beautiful spring season, when the Tabebuia chrysantha trees are in full bloom. We welcome all tea lovers from across the nation who appreciate Oriental Beauty Tea to reunite at the Ximaopu Suspension Bridge.
